The Use of Slow Motion and Digital Concept Maps in Primary School: An Evaluation in Terms of Science Attitudes and Metacognitive Awareness

The aim of this study was to examine the effects slow motion and digital concept maps used in science lessons on primary school 3rd-grade students’ attitudes metacognitive awareness levels. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group used. Within scope study, two three groups determined by unbiased assignment were experimental one group. In (EG-1), carried out using technique, while mapping applied for other (EG-2). (CG), textbooks followed accordance course curriculum. total 67 students participated 21 EG-1, 25 EG-2, CG. Data collected help Science Attitude Scale Metacognitive Awareness Scale. ANOVA ANCOVA analysis data. According findings, both attitude scores EG-1 EG-2 increased posttests. addition, comparisons between showed that more effective than motion. Based results obtained, it can be suggested further studies different units evaluate limitations
